October 25th:
Only the finals to play! Will Sweden take their first victory or will we finally have an American victory? Will Krull FF's Jonatan Igelblom score more than 2 goals to win the top scorers table or will Vitold Osipov and Georges Manfait share the victory?

THIS IS THE LAST LRC IN MY COMMAND!
I have decided NOT to run any more LRC's. Unfortunately work takes too much time and I have no chance to run this cup in a professional way. If someone feels they can take over, please let me know, otherwise I want to thank all of you participating. It was nice to get to know most of you, and I'm sure we will bump into each other in HT some way or another in the future as well!!!

August 20th:
Due to the much unexpected breakdown from Hattrick during Wednesday evening all places has not been filled yet! We are awaiting a match in USA and have to fill another 4 vacant spots. There is an ad in the Global and English conference and hopefully all spots are full during early Thursday evening (can't do it earlier due to work!). If you are interested in LRC, please send Kelju (Sweden) a HT-mail asap and don't arrange for another friendly. If you already are in the cup, please arrange for the first round (note that the teams given places today have been informed, but their opponents in the same group have not!). If you don't know, please press the link "LRC5" to the left and you can see which teams are in the cup. The groups you'll find under "Teams/groups" and the fixture under "schedule/results".

August 16th:
Today the draws for the groups was decided (see the page for groups). So far 19 teams are ready for the cup and we expect more to be confirmed after next cup round. If there are not 32 teams decided after that we will do a rush advertisement at the global conference to fill up the positions! So, for teams in LRC, please don't arrange for another friendly after next Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (depending on what day your country plays). The cup starts approx. 27th August and there WILL BE matches for all of you. Latest during Friday (22nd) all groups should be confirmed! If your opponent arranges for a match outside LRC he/she will be replaced!!!

July 27th:
The management has decided to run the LRC5 after all! The planning has started and right now we are awaiting another cup-round before sending out invitation. The teams fulfilling LRC4 are the ones first receiving the invitations. The cup starts the week after the fifth match in the series. If you want to place your team on the waitinglist, please contact Kelju (Sweden).

July 16th:
Congratulations to FC Chelyabinsk defending last years victory with another win against a Swedish team in the final. Also congratulations to Krull FF's Mats Nyling winning the top scorers league with a new cup-record.

The planning for LRC5 has started and it will start as last season! However, as I will start a new job with a lot of travelling it will mean less time in front of HT. Thus I can't monitor the teams joining the cup on a regular basis. Most work is of course in the first round when the last positions has to be filled! Any one interested in helping me?

July 8th:
Almost a month since the last written news and not too fast update either. I'm sorry for this but I have to blaim it on vacation and the fact that I'm getting a new job. The new job will mean more work and especially more travelling meaning that the future LRC's may (I hope not) be monitored less closely. If not I need to have assistance in monitoring the cup. The update of the homepage, I can manage but as I don't have access to HT at work any longer I can only monitor it on evenings! Any interested?

Tomorrow the final will be played. Will Sweden take their first victory or can FC Chelyabinsk defend last years championship? Krull FF has probably a better team, but one never knows!

June 12th:
The groupstages has ended! Please see the link endstages to see which teams qualified and to see the schedule. Please arrange for the matches as usual but use cup-rules instead of normal rules. The homepage will be updated asap and the teams in the endstages will also receive a HT-mail during Thursday evening!

May 13th:
Yet again all 16 matches were arranged for! Of course, one should be able to expect participating teams to arrange for the matches, but so hasn't been the case in previous LRC's, making LRC4 the most fun cup for me as an organiser! Thanks to all of you!!! Schedule for the coming rounds you can find on the homepage. I will not send out reminders every week! The hometeam is responsible for challenging the awayteam but if there a no challenge when the awayteam logs in, it's recommendable for the awayteam to challenge the hometeam (just remember to challenge as awayteam!)

If you can't log in for some time due to travelling, work, don't have access to Internet during weekends etc, please let me know. Both me and the opposition then knows your intentions!

May 5th:
FANTASTIC!!! For the first time in the cup history we will play a full round without any w.o.īs. All the matches are arranged for, even if we had to replace one team late! Let's keep up the good work and make LRC4 the most fun cup of them all! Welcome to all new teams not having played LRC before and of course welcome back to all you addicts that can't live without LRC (or was it HT???). Anyway, the fun can begin!!! Good luck everyone whatever your purposes are with LRC (some wants to win and some just need to train their loosy defenders!)

April 27th:
LRC4 is getting closer. The cup starts at the 7th of May and there are still half the places uncertain as a lot of invited (and also announced interest in the pre-invitation) teams are still in their national cups. As always we have to wait for the last nat cup-round before LRC starts. There are some teams on the waitinglist and I'm sure we will fill all positions!

March 12th:
After a smoothly running play-off, the final was played today. The best team from the group stages, FC Chelyabinsk, played home against the big surprise, Helgonen. As predicted it was an easy victory for the Russians, but the visitors were very happy with the silver-medails!

The cup-management congratulates the winner and thank all participating teams! The top-scorer of the cup will be announce within shortly!

The planning for LRC4 will soon begin. Already now we can announce some news. First, the cup will be delayed one week, allowing as many old "good behaving" teams as possible to join LRC4. As you all have noticed we had a lot of wo's in the groupstages and the discussing right now is wether to have 32 teams or a number of teams possible to divide with four, meaning that some 3-placed teams will reach the endstages. As before, new teams, recommended by an old team will get vacant positions first (unless they are from USA, as USA has reached their number of teams in the cup-limit. We will try to have as many nations as possible represented).

February 2nd:
After looking fairly good after three rounds the wo's and withdrawals in the cup has accelerated making it no fun as well for the organiser nor the partizipating teams! Especially poor FC Blind Guardian has suffered from this with 4 (out of 5) wo's in their favour. We want to play, not win by wo! After the fourth round we had another two replacements as The Wuzz withdrew due to financial reasons. PHAT United has also left the cup due to being afraid of getting more injuries!!! You don't have to ask me what I think about their reasons or the behaviour of not completing a cup you have entered! Well, at least we warmly welcomes 1.FC Lok Hoyerswerda from Germany and Diname from Croatia as their replacements!

After the 5th round we're going to have to replace several teams, but I think I will not succeed finding teams enough!

January 28th:
Even before the 4th round is played I can tell the worst result in LRC3. Five matches will be decided by wo and one team have announced their withdrawal after this round due to financial reasons! Please try to have high moral and complete the cup you once entered, both to justify your own team but mostly to let your fellow cup-opponents to enjoy their Hattrick! After this round FC Martinek will be replaced by VFC Frederik Viimsi. We warmly welcomes the Estonians!

January 17th:
The Bill Football Club and Spirulina has been replaced by Efreddy FC (Spain) and The Divine Crazies (Belgium). We welcome the new teams. Both rounds have had 13 matches played. Two of the walk overs each round was depending on the now replaced teams and of course defending champion Bayern Hof also leaves wo due to their succesful run in their national cup! It would be great to have 15 matches played in round 3. I am very pleased with all the teams in LRC3. It makes much more fun to organise a cup when the competing teams behaves with high moral!

January 15th:
The referees committee has taken their first decision. The match between Bayern Hof and The Bill Football Club has been decided a 0-0 double wo draw. Bayern Hof has already left wo due to playing successful in national cup and The Bill Football Club hasn't logged in since the cup started. The result from this is that The Bill Football Club is withdrawn from the cup and will be replaced after two rounds. This means that a team may not be able to win by wo in a round if not logging in during the week (will be decided from case by case)

Spirulina in group 4 will be withdrawn and replaced as well due to leaving two wo's. Search for their replacements has already started.

January 12th:
A referees committee has been set up to investigate and take decisions about situations not covered by the rules. The committee consists of the teams Helgonen (chairman), Street Walkers, Muresul Deva and Cassinia Crusaders.

January 7th:
Tomorrow (already today) the cups begin! I'm pleased to see that we will have only 3 wo's whereof one is the defending champion who still plays in his national cup. Of course two other wo's is not good, but in times around Christmas and New Year I think it's reasonable. The interest for LRC3 was enormous and we really shouldn't need to have teams being withdrawn like last year. Please, remember that I will not send out your schedule like I did in the first round. You will have to find your schedule at the link "schedule/results". Please also remember that if you don't receive a challenge from the hometeam, challenge them on your own instead but as an away-team. Some of us are not lucky to have instant access to the net and thus it will help them (and yourself) a lot!

December 31st:
The draws has already been made, but as we still wait for almost 50% of the teams to fill their spots there are of course a lot of empty spots! Almost all definite entries has answered their "personal" questions and the waitinglist is growing bigger! I'm certain we will have 32 entries when the arranging for matches starts tomorrow (pls bear in mind that USA plays their matches early in the morning the 2nd of January (European time)). Pls, all teams interested in the cup should allow some time to receive challanging according to the cup-rules!

December 23rd:
New rule! As the challenging didn't always work last season and HT has changed dates for England and Germany LRC has been forced to implement new rules regarding challenging! The hometeam must challenge their opponent before 10 am (GMT) on Saturday and the awayteam must accept before 10 am (GMT) on Monday. To avoid discussions due to late challenges or even HT-server performence, please make your challenges asap!

December 14th:
Invitations for LRC3 are going to be sent out from today. Teams with "clean" sheets (i.e. not leaving unexpected w.o.'s in previous LRC-cups will get invitations). Other teams could announce their interest as there remains several empty spots. The cup will start after the fourth match in the new season. New! To make the teams more familiar with each other, please answer the same headlines as in this link. If you don't have any logo, it doesn't matter! Please also tell me which is the biggest town in your region. I'm working on a world-map pointing out the teams!

December 8th:
The cup managment congratulates Bayern Hof from Germany to the victory in LRC2. Once again Street Walkers was runner-ups!

The planning for LRC3 has started and the cup will preliminary start 4 weeks into the new season!

October 31st:
Quarter-finals postponed one week. Due to a mix-up between two of the teams in the endstages the cup management (in communication with the participating teams) have decided to postpone the next round for one week, letting the last match in the first round of the endstages be played coming week. The quarter finals will be played November 13th. The teams affected will receive message from the cup management after the delayed match is played!

October 23rd:
The groupstages are finished, and indeed we had a lot of changes due to withdrawals! Previous one spot in group 7 was vacant and due to two withdrawals in group 1 (FCFarul and Sioux Warriors) Mansfield f.c could see themselves in the endstages. The schedule for the endstages is in the link "endstages".

October 20th:
And then Thorpys dropped out before even entering the cup leaving the vacant position just vacant! It is quite much work to arrange a cup like this and the behaviour from some teams doesn't raise my spirit so to say! It is now under consideration if this cup should be played next season! Note, I'm pleased with most teams behaviour, but still we have had a lot of w.o's!

October 17th:
It is with great pleasure the cup management welcomes Spirulina (Romania), GOONIES FC (Poland) and Thorpys (England) as replacement for Singapore Armed Forces, The Schritties and Kubiaschwili Stars. Although the newcomers has nothing to expect from this years cup they have choosen to participate (completed participation gives of course a free entry to next years cup).

The cup management asks all participating teams for understanding for all the w.o's making the cup less fun! Hopefully, when the cup has been played for some seasons a core of teams wellknown, will participate. Those teams have qualified for further participating by their high moral to play the matches in previous cups. It is hard to understand how a team wants to play in a cup and then without reasons or explanations arranges for other matches (it is legal to have explanations and excuses!!!) making their supposed opponents suffer from lost opportunities to play matches! The cup managements highest wish right now is to have 16 matches played in the last round. Please...

October 16th:
Due to many walk overs the cup management is forced to implement a new rule without previous notice! If a team placed in position 1 or 2 in the final table is expelled from the cup and the cup management can't find a replacement (replacements must play at least one match in the group stages), the next team in the table will be counted for as player in the endstages. This rule is implemented because we don't want any w.o.'s in the endstages.

The results will be updated asap. Be patient, due to heavy workload the update may be delayed. In the 5th round we had 6!!! walk over's and 3 teams will be expelled. I will try to find replacements but the chance is not that big! If the cup managment hasn't found replacements before Saturday the new rule will be implemented!

October 10th:
In the fourth round only 2 matches couldn't be played due to w.o.'s. getting better!!! We welcome Chelsea F.C from England as replacement for Norweigian Team Solan in group 8. In the fourth round there were some surprisingly results making some of the groups even more uncertain. Most of the newcomers performed very well!

October 4th:
The third round was played with 13 matches taken place. This is the best round in LRC2, but still not good enough! In group 2, Zwan has been replaced by Melltorp redemption. We welcome the Swedish team and hopes they can defend the Swedish colors much better than my own team! :-) . Tauri Asgards ended their successful cup-story this week and will be available for LRC in round four. As much as we are sorry for Tauri Asgards loosing in the cup, we are warmly welcoming them back for defending their crown!

September 28th:
As Sun&Fun United has announced their withdrawal from the cup due to economical reasons, we welcome Dinamo Tallinn as their replacement. I really hope there won't be too many more replacement as it really causes trouble und somehow unfair situation for the teams in the cup!

September 26th:
And then new team Arthurlie dropped off!!! I can't believe it! Well, let's welcome Mansfield f.c. from USA as their replacement!

September 26th:
In the second round six matches was postponed due to walk over. Please, try to avoid walk overs as it creates a lot of problems for the other participants in the cup aswell for the cup itself! Next round Tauri Asgards will have to leave w.o. due to their successful national cup season! Beograd VJK has been replaced due to leaving walk overs in the two first round. We welcome Scottish team Arthurlie as their replacement in group 1.

September 18th:
Five matches were decided by walk over! That's four to many! (only excusable is defending champion Tauri Asgards still in their nat. cup). Tauri Asgards will have to leave w.o. in the second round aswell due to their success in the nat. cup. Please challenge your opponents for the second round as soon as possible! We don't want to see w.o.'s due to late challenges (where the opponent doesn't log in after the challenge). The results, tables etc from the first round will be delayed for update to the weekend due to heavy workload at work! Please be patient!

September 11th:
Four groups are now fully scheduled as all the teams are available. During the day we will find out who will fill the empty spots in the groups. All empty spots belongs to team playing their national cup-matches today. As soon as a match is finished the team will be given a place if they loose in their nat. cup. Otherwise a team in queue will be given the place!

September 6th:
Enough teams to fill all places have announced their interest. We are waiting for some teams still in the cup. I have made the draws and placed the teams out of their national cup in their groups in the "groups-page". I will start working on design also :-)

August 13th:
A new homepage is launched. Small advertisements for LRC2 has been sent out! Teams from LRC1 will receive invitations after 1 match in the series!
